Microsoft released Popfly which spotlights Silverlight, a rival-in-the-making for Flash (we’ll see Microsoft, we’ll see). You can create 3D games, interactive mashups, videos, and more.

I’ll be interested to see where it goes after BETA. It would be nice if it were cross-platform, but hey, I’m not holding my breath. It’s Microsoft, so whatever.
